Spring Picture Day is coming to CMS on Wednesday, March 20th. All students will have an individual picture taken. No money is due on picture day. Students will receive a picture package to preview a few weeks after picture day.

Norfolk Southern Rail notified the City of Commerce that the railroad crossing (highlighted in yellow) at N Elm and Homer/Jefferson Rd will be closed for repair /repaving from Friday morning at 7am until Saturday morning at 8am. Congratulations to the 8th grade Students of the Month for February! ELA: Mercedes is hardworking and kind. We are lucky to have her at CMS. Math: John works very hard in math and participates frequently during lessons. He is happy to explain how he solves math problems in order to help other students understand. SS: Ladd is enthusiastic every day and always has a terrific attitude. He is a great student and leader at CMS. SC: Jenifer is always polite, on task, and respectful. She works hard every day and shows great character. ELA Applications: Aubrey is a pleasure to have in class. I enjoy having conversations with her about all sorts of topics. She works hard, and sets a great example for her peers. Math Applications: Aubrey is always hardworking, participates in class, and has a great attitude!
