Under the leadership of Chairman Mr. Kyle Moore and Vice-Chair Mrs. Cara Bray, the Commerce City Board of Education has unanimously supported the recommendation by Superintendent Mr. Billy Kirk to defease the bonds from 2016 and 2021. The decision, which received full support from board members Mr. Bobby Patman, Mr. Matthew Dean, and Mr. Cory Griffith, positions the school district to focus on upcoming capital projects, including the new Commerce Elementary School and a state-of-the-art Multi-purpose Athletic Facility.
